House Rules

Creating an environment of success

All members of the Redeemed Christian Recovery program must agree to abide by the following:


  • No drugs and alcohol permitted. Any use of drugs or alcohol will result in immediate termination of programing. We have a zero-tolerance policy. Participants must pass a drug screen and breathalyzer to move in. Participants will be subject to random drug testing/breathalyzers during their programing. Failure of these tests, or refusal to submit to the tests, will result in immediate termination of programing.


  • Zero tolerance for disruptive behavior. This includes, in part, physical or verbal abuse, disrespect to other participants or staff, romanticizing drug talk, stealing, high-risk behaviors, gambling in the house, destruction of property, prejudice towards another’s race, or culture.

 

  • Participants are not permitted to have overnight guests under any circumstances. All visitors must be approved by the house manager or staff, remain in the common areas and must be off the property by 7pm. Guests cannot be under the influence of alcohol/drugs. Each participant can have a maximum of 2 non-family guests at one time after the first 30 days. Participants are responsible for their guests' actions.

 

  • Guests, including children, who are disruptive to other participants’ recovery, will be asked to leave and will not be allowed to return. Minor guests are only allowed if you are legal guardian or legal guardian is present. Adult non-family guests of the opposite sex are not allowed inside the house.

 

  • Curfew and overnight passes will be a privalege earned based on the participant’s working the program and will not be given within the first 90 days. Participants may recieve an overnight pass up to 4 nights per month (non consecutive), but only after providing the house manager with at least 24 hours notice and receiving approval. 


  • For the first 90 days, you must be in every single night from 10pm-6am. Thereafter, curfew is 12am-6am. Lights out will be at 11pm in the house and all common areas must be cleared. All particpants will be required to be out of bed by 8am each morning to attend morning devotionals.

 

  • Be respectful of fellow participants and neighbors.Participants must maintain good relations with their housemates, neighbors, staff and the community as a whole.


  • All participants will be given their own entry code to enter the facilty and may not share that code with any other persons or risk dismisal from the program.

 

  • Timely payment of program fees ($150 per week) can be paid weekly or paid on the 1st of each month for the current month. All fees will be paid in advance. First month fees of $600 are due on the day entering the program.

 

  • Employment, school or volunteer work totaling at least twenty hours weekly within the first 30 days of programing.

 

  • Active participation in self-help recovery groups, including at least five meetings weekly including a Sunday church service. Participants must be active in program outtings throughout the month. 



House Maintenance

 

  • All participants will work with one another to keep the house clean. Each participant will be assigned chores (by the house manager) and it is expected these will be completed in a timely manner, otherwise cable and internet privileges may be rescinded from the whole house.

 

  • Windows are to be closed and latched during the heating season when the heat is on, or in the summer when the air conditioner is running.

 

  • Lights are to be shut off in rooms that are not being used.


  • Participants must maintain their personal space in a clean and sanitary condition. For example: no food or drinks in room, dirty clothes in the hamper, bedding washed weekly, clothing washed at least weekly, etc 

 

  • Participants are not allowed to alter, move, add or change any property including furniture, doors, locks, etc without prior permission from staff. No hanging or screwing anything on the walls. 

 

  • Smoking is prohibited in the house. Smoking is allowed in posted areas. Butts must go into butt receptacle. Vaping in the house will not be allowed.

 

  • Abide by all house rules.  Must attend weekly house meeting to go over weekly assignments for responsabilities within the house. House managers have final say in their house and report directly to the program director.


  • Participants are jointly responsible for lawn care and general maintenance of the property.


  • All Mail must be sent to our PO Box and only to that address.
